About the project
East Coast Hydrogen is a vision to convert the gas network in much of the north of England to hydrogen within the next 15 years.
In partnership, gas distribution companies Northern Gas Networks and Cadent plus transmission company National Gas, aim to repurpose existing infrastructure to connect planned hydrogen production and storage with industrial and domestic customers across the East Coast region.
